Skirts

Well...I guess I'm a little bit addicted. To making skirts that is. I just barely realized this when I pulled out all the skirts I have made in the last 2 months or so and took pictures of them. There were way more than I thought that I had. Oops. At least they are all cute and I know I will wear them because I already have! And Sadie pretty much wears a skirt every day so I am not worried there either. Anyway...here are some pictures of all of the skirts that I made.

Just a note : I hadn't taken a shower yet so that's why my head is cut off in all of these pictures. And I didn't take the time to iron any of them. So they are all wrinkly, and it makes them look really bad. But I really like them all.

Butterflies. I have worn this one lots of times already. I loved it when it was hot outside because the fabric is nice and thin.

This is a circle skirt...I kinda fell in love with making circle skirts. They are so flowy and twirly. And I love this fabric that I got for one dollar a yard.

I made this one about two weeks after I had my baby...big mistake. The second time I wore it to church it was WAY too big. So now I wear it with a big safety pin in the back. Awesome.

OK. This one could have used a little ironing. But I love the fabric. I got it at Walmart for a dollar a yard, so it isn't the highest quality, but I definitely love it. It looks SO much better without tons of wrinkles in it. Another circle skirt.

This is just a casual skirt that I made from the bottom of a men's t-shirt and some elastic thread. It is so comfy and I wore it tons of times when the weather was hot.

This one is a little see through so I will need a slip under it, but it is another circle skirt out of dollar a yard fabric. AWESOME. I love it! Oh...and obviously it needs ironing!

I have had this fabric for about 3 years trying to decide what to do with it because I loved it so much. So I made a gathered elastic waist skirt. And I love it.

This is a knit skirt with a knit waistband. So comfy and casual and awesome. Although sometimes it feels like it is going to just fall off of me. So next time I think I will make the waistband a little tighter. :)

And another knit skirt. I've worn this one a lot too. In fact, I have worn them all a lot. So, yeah.

Ok...now to Sadie's skirts. This is a circle skirt. Really cute...especially because Sadie is wearing it.

This is a skirt I made from a t-shirt. I just made up the pattern and I really like how it turned out. And for 1 dollar. I don't think I will EVER buy a skirt for Sadie again. They are so fast and easy to make.

Another circle skirt.

And another circle skirt.

I guess I figured out that I don't really need to make any more skirts for a while. Darn. They are so fun to make. And Sadie pretty much wears a skirt everyday. Not kidding. So I guess I better start making some leggings to go under her skirts because it is getting cooler. I guess that is all.
